TRACTOR DON'S HOME PAGE

After I retired, my full-time hobby became restoring old tractors and pedal
tractors. Having grown up on a farm, you can take the boy out of the farm but
you can never take the farm out of the boy. These vintage tractors make
one think back in time when tractors were the work horses of the day.
Today, these tractors are still in demand because people collect them as a part
of preserving history. This is done through private collectors or clubs
with special interest groups.
The pedal tractor was a
spinoff of the large tractors because when the farmer purchased a large
tractor, a pedal tractor was then available for the son/daughter to simulate
farming.
At present I have three full size tractors,
fifty four children's pedal tractors, a 110 lawn tractor. Recently I acquired from my brother-in-law a 1953
M38A1 military Jeep similiar to the one I drove in Korea.
It has been personalized with the markings of my outfit in Korea.
